The desire to learn is critical for success. At Guild, many learning opportunities stem from employees’ desire to discover more. For example, our Operations unit formed a Leaders and Training team to share information and develop company-wide efficiencies. One series is the “Resident Expert” program with Guild employees training each other on products to fit borrower needs. The Learning and Training team will host 16 “Resident Expert” calls in November, with topics ranging from a products overview to available resources in Guild University. These in-house opportunities help employees to advance their careers. Over the past year, we’ve had several loan processors train to become successful underwriters. Their desire to learn leads to success.
