It’s been just over a year since the implementation of TRID. In looking at our progress, we’ve realized our unique approach to preparing for TRID allowed for a successful transition. We took an inclusive approach, making sure to tap into the expertise of different business units. We started planning and training for TRID early, beginning with webinars in March 2015. We designed our workflow based on what made sense for customers, not just what worked for us. Most importantly, we stayed positive throughout the preparation, training and implementation. I’m impressed with how we came together as a company to avoid interrupting the loan application process for borrowers and employees alike. I’m also pleased to know we were able to keep closing times below our competitors’ and am happy to see forms that are clear and easier to understand.
