Guild Reports 35% YoY Originations Increase For Q1 2025 Amid Market Volatility

Guild started the year off strong by closing $5.2 billion in Q1—up 35% from Q1 2024. Most impressively, 88% of that loan volume came from purchase originations, surpassing the industry average of 71%. Guild’s CEO Terry Schmidt attributed the company’s performance despite a challenging housing market to its “resilience and strategic focus.”
