Guild Mortgage and the National Fastpitch Coaches Association team up to eliminate origination fees for members

San Diego – November 07, 2025 – Guild Mortgage, a nationally recognized retail mortgage lender, has launched a partnership with the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) to reduce financial barriers of entry to homeownership with zero origination fees* for members.

Members of the NFCA, who coach across the country and abroad, will get access to eliminated origination fees for their mortgage applications, a demonstration of Guild’s commitment to expanding homeownership throughout communities. This far-reaching partnership alleviates the cost of homeownership for coaches, regardless of where they live.

“As a former NCAA Division I Coach and student athlete, and now a loan officer, I understand firsthand how important financial literacy and homeownership are in building long-term wealth,” said Carla Marchetti, a loan officer at Guild. “This partnership with the NFCA is about empowering softball coaches with real opportunities—eliminating origination fees is just the beginning. We’re here to help coaches turn their hard work on the field into financial stability off the field.”

In addition to waiving the origination fee on mortgage applications, NFCA coaches will also receive personalized homeownership education and resources, plus one-on-one support from a loan officer nearby. The select team of loan officers are familiar with and understand the coaching lifestyle and can guide coaches from renting to building wealth through homeownership.
