Guild Mortgage Sponsors Ability360 at the Independence Cup Gaming Tournament in Arizona
San Diego – Aug. 14, 2025 – Guild Mortgage, a nationally recognized mortgage lender delivering the promise of home from coast to coast*, supported Ability360 as a sponsor in the 2025 Independence Cup gaming tournament on July 12 and 13.
As part of its mission in fostering community involvement and honoring diversity, Guild chose to partner with Ability360 in pursuit of these shared values. Through sponsorship, Guild’s participation helped alleviate travel and transportation costs for the tournament participants, levelling the playing field for players and their families.
This year’s Ability360 Independence Cup, presented by Q9, combined 32 player teams from across the globe for a day jampacked with e-sports gaming. The tournament is an inclusive event catered to gamers of all abilities and demonstrates gaming’s power in bringing together players from different backgrounds, regardless of medical conditions.
“Guild Mortgage was proud to be a Booster Sponsor for Ability360’s third annual Independence Cup,” said Doug Jameson, Regional Vice President of the Desert Mountain Region at Guild Mortgage. “This was a virtual gaming event that had teams from around the world competing in an elimination-style tournament for two days. Ability360 has an amazing track record of promoting programs to empower those living with disabilities, so they can continue living independent lifestyles in the Phoenix community.”
