Guild Mortgage to Host Free Freddie Mac CreditSmart® Essentials Workshop in Tampa Bay

Community-focused event aims to empower attendees with financial literacy, credit education, and pathways to homeownership

Tampa, FL — April 24, 2026 — Guild Mortgage, in partnership with Housing & Education Alliance, is proud to host a free Freddie Mac CreditSmart® Essentials workshop designed to help individuals and families build stronger financial foundations and prepare for future homeownership opportunities.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at CareerSource Tampa Bay (9215 N. Florida Ave., Tampa, FL 33612), with doors opening at 9:30 am and the session running from 10 am to 12 pm.

This engaging, educational event is open to the public and will provide attendees with practical tools and insights to better understand their finances—at no cost.

Attendees will learn:

  • How credit works, including how to read and improve credit reports
  • Smart financial habits for long-term success
  • Tools and resources to prepare for buying a home
  • Answers to their questions during a live Q&A session
