Guild Mortgage Named New Hampshire Housing’s No. 1 Lender for 2022

New Hampshire Housing Recognizes Guild for Outstanding Efforts to Assist Homebuyers; Names Five Guild Loan Officers to Top Ten Originators List

San Diego – Sept. 28, 2022 — Guild Mortgage (NYSE: GHLD), a growth-oriented mortgage company that has originated and serviced residential loans since 1960, was recently named New Hampshire Housing’s top mortgage lender for 2022.

Five Guild loan officers were named to the housing agency’s top ten originator’s list for 2022, including the state’s top originator, Jay Vogel (NMLS #47957). Vogel joined Guild in 2021 when Residential Mortgage Services became Guild Mortgage. He has made New Hampshire Housing’s top originators list for 15 straight years. He is joined on this year’s top ten list by Guild’s Joseph Gagnon (No. 5 ranking, NMLS #161967), Lisa Capicchioni (No. 7 ranking, NMLS #157850), Marleen Paquette (Tied for No. 10 ranking, NMLS #205609) and Gladys White (Tied for No. 10 ranking, NMLS #155592).

Each year, New Hampshire Housing recognizes lenders and loan officers for helping homebuyers benefit from the agency’s home loan programs, which offer features such as cash for down payments and closing costs to help make homeownership more affordable and accessible. Honorees were chosen for their high rate of success in connecting buyers with the agency’s programs. This year’s awards represent achievements from the reporting period of January 2021 through June 2022.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by New Hampshire Housing once again this year,” said Vogel, branch manager and senior loan officer for Guild’s Nashua, New Hampshire branch. “It takes a broad range of programs and options to deliver on our promise of home and each home loan transaction is as personalized and distinct as the clients we serve. Despite all the challenges faced in this tough market, we were able to help many first-time homebuyers realize their dream of homeownership and worked with others to upgrade, downsize, relocate or refinance to meet their needs. This is what it’s all about.”

“New Hampshire’s top lenders and loan originators are vital to supporting affordable housing opportunities for our state’s homebuyers,” said Julie Jussif, managing director of New Hampshire Housing’s Homeownership Division. “We know 2021 and 2022 represent some of the most challenging years for homebuyers in recent history. These top lenders have met the challenges and provided outstanding service to customers across our state.”
