Matt MacGillivray, Southeast, Regional Vice President

Matt MacGillivray is responsible for Guild’s Southeast region, in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Matt and his team created Guild’s retail presence in the Southeast. He joined Guild in 2012 as a branch manager with three offices in South Carolina, two in Columbia and one in Myrtle Beach. By focusing on providing superior customer service in the Guild model, Matt and his team built a strong reputation for the company throughout the region. He recruited top loan professionals to join Guild and was promoted to regional manager in 2014. Prior to joining Guild, Matt was with Bank of America Mortgage for over 22 years where he led the #1 branch in units closed for many years. He received a B.S. degree in economics from The University of Georgia in 1984.
